Pediatric Medical Services Coordinator

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of pediatric medical services within our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

1) Patient Care Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate pediatric patient care services, including scheduling appointments, managing referrals, and ensuring timely follow-up.
2) Medical Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and privacy laws.
3) Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
4) Family Support and Education: Provide support and education to pediatric patients and their families, offering guidance on treatment plans, medications, and available resources.
5) Quality Assurance: Monitor the quality of pediatric medical services provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to enhance patient care outcomes.
6) Emergency Response: Assist in managing pediatric medical emergencies, ensuring prompt and appropriate intervention and communication with healthcare providers and families.
7) Community Outreach: Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote pediatric health and wellness, including organizing educational workshops and events.

Requirements:

1) Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2) Previous experience in pediatric healthcare coordination or related role.
3) Strong organizational and communication skills.
4) Knowledge of pediatric medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
5) Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team environment.
6) Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care to children and their families.
7) Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
