Booqable is scaling up, and our Stability team plays a vital role in ensuring everything runs smoothly. While we rely on Heroku for our infrastructure and it’s essential for us to embrace some DevOps practices to accommodate our growth.
As part of our security efforts, the Stability team implements robust security measures. This includes regularly assessing and monitoring our systems for vulnerabilities, proactively identifying potential threats, and implementing appropriate safeguards to protect our infrastructure and customer data.

What you’ll do
Here are a few projects or initiatives you may have the opportunity to work on:
- Region splitting and sharding our infrastructure
- Monitor critical parts of our platform
- Update services and dependencies
- Optimize CI to run faster and more stable
- Optimize the deployment flow
- Optimize slow queries and requests
- Contribute to our technical roadmap
Skills and nice to haves
- You are flexible, a team player, and someone with an eye for detail
- Able to take ownership and design elegant and scalable systems
- Familiar with Heroku, AWS
- Understanding of relational databases
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Awareness of Git and code reviewing
- You have full proficiency (written and verbal) in English
- TDD or BDD knowledge would also be nice to have
- Strong programming foundations
- Ability to solve complex challenges
