Plum Paper, a division of Avery Procucts Corporation is a rapidly growing e-commerce stationery company specializing in personalized planners and notebooks. We are looking for a Web Developer. Youwill be responsible for the front end management of our e-commerce website, providing collaboration with back end development to provide positive user experiences and deliver measurable business growth.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage digital store, overseeing all site merchandising including navigation, pricing, categories, visual merchandising, video content, product setup and activation, search optimization, and purchase journey
Develop, test, and deploy eCommerce platform features, optimizations, merchandising improvements, bug fixes, custom functionality and integrations to maximize conversions
Work directly with the Web Development team and Creative team in the delivery of e-commerce web application features and projects to drive sales and customer acquisition
Take ownership and responsibility of projects and features and work closely with design team
Research & suggest emerging technologies and website features with the goal of applying these technologies to current and future projects
Learn our website along with its framework, data model, and user interfaces
Take responsibility for developing new components and site enhancements for better customer experience and customer conversion
Produce reasonable estimates for tasks and meeting project schedules
Advise on evidence-based and experimental changes to our platform
Monitor the effectiveness of strategies by inspecting standardized metrics
Capture daily DTC site analytics, overseeing key performance indicators (e.g., traffic conversions, AOV, CAC, LTV, etc.), interpreting data into trends and marketing strategy, and optimizing site
Responsible for testing all the enhancements and doing an acceptance testing before releasing the features
Manage Amazon store, Etsy store, and Google Shopping
Optimize product listings on Amazon through product testing
Oversee the SEO Program in conjunction with the marketing team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field; or 5 years of equivalent work experience
Experience with Ruby on Rails
Deep understanding of E-Commerce, user experience, site architecture, content, meta tags, conversion, AOV, and traffic analysis
Ability to write high-performance, scalable, reusable code
Experience building and maintaining e-Commerce websites
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Effective and comfortable under minimum supervision
Experience in web and mobile development best practices
Strong knowledge of SEO/SEM
Experience with tag management tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics
Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced ever-changing work environment
Creative and analytical mind with exceptional problem-solving skills
Experience with Amazon storefront management and other e-commerce platforms
Experience working with sophisticated eCommerce web applications and mobile front-ends
