Anybody know of an easy way to get a one click installer for a jruby
project that includes, for example, external dll’s and such?
Looking for something that will add icons to the start menu, associate
files, etc.

We’ve been using Install4J for our JRuby installer, which has a pretty
large set of options (but isn’t free or Free). There are other Windows
installer options, some of them free (and Free). You might poke around
the JRuby archives for the discussions we had about Windows installers
in summer/fall 2009.

Nullsoft is free - it is a bit weird, but did the job for me a while
back. NSIS Wiki
You can build your .exes on linux (and probably mac too) if you aren’t a
windows person.
I’m guessing it will do one click, it certainly is customisable.
