Hi

Some packaging task have been made and now we have a Fat Jar made using
JarSlice(with a little manually task on rb libs because tool
limitations) this can be run with the only dependence of JRE 7.

The exploration on packaging a Jruby GUI still goes on…
sugestions are accepted!!

You can use the JavaFX packaging tools pretty simply to make native
installers from any executable jar, I wrote up a wiki entry a while back
about doing it from jruby’s rake for jruby apps:
