Trinidad 1.4.6 has been released recently with a few notable -
interesting
fixes.
We should start up a bit faster esp. since we do not initialize session
ids
(which are only needed with Java integration or when the servlet
sessions
store is being used). Also connector configurations for http: , ssl:
and/or
ajp: should now be handled more intuitively (e.g. we won’t start http:
when
only https: is explicitly configured).
Release notes:
NOTE: due internal (Tomcat) changes, latest of Trinidad 1.4 might not
serve public assets as expected. We did not decide what the best
approach
would be to “fix” this for Rack/Rails applications, but there’s an
option
to configure that will work with Rails (and most Rack) applications when
sub-folders are used for storing (pre-compiled) static files
public/assets
.
