Geocalcs Module

Is anyone aware of a Ruby module with geo calc functions … great
circle,
distance between lat/lon, waypoint projection, azimuth calc, etc?

I have a bunch of PHP ones I could set about porting, but wondered if
anyone
had a native one already built.
