HowTo use mysql in cygwin?

the shell in windows is so … idiot
so i use cygwin instead

when I try to “rake db:migrate” in cygwin.
No such file or dir. -/tmp/mysql.sock

@Ubuntu, I use ‘link -s /var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock /tmp/mysql.sock’, it
works.
But how to fix it in windows.

I am … so confuse.
