LOCat 0.1.0 has been released.
LOCat is a customizable LOC analysis tool. LOC might not be the most
useful metric in the universe, but it still provides useful information
and can be a lot of fun.
This is the first release of LOCat a fancy LOC analysis tool.

The site is definitely fun :). I was baffled at first; took me a while
to get it.
You should never use an abbreviation/acronym in a product name without
at
least a simple definition of what it means in your description.
And you really should not use the term to define the term, for
instance:
“LOCat is a fancy LOC code analysis too.”
If you had no idea what LOC means; after reading that description you
still
would have no idea. Worst of all someone might actually know the
abbreviation/acronym but it doesn’t register when they read the app’s
name
and the description doesn’t make it any clearer so you’ve just lost a
potential user.
All that being said I can’t wait to see the SLOCat app that encompasses
both
LOCat and the heLLOCatty libraries.
And no, I’m not going to define the terms either. ;p

Fair point. I just didn’t think of it since I have known “Lines Of
Code” such a long time. I will update description. Thanks.

Oh nos! I had to google LLOC!
