Must-have bugs for JRuby 1.6.6?

We had planned to drop 1.6.6 this week, but it’s looking like it will
be next week. So this is basically your last chance to lobby for your
favorite bug to get into the release

We’ve put a lot of effort into user bug reports and 1.9 fixes for
JRuby 1.6.6, so please re-test any bugs you may have had with a
snapshot build from http://ci.jruby.org/snapshots/release.

I have a good feeling about this release. We’ve stiffened our CI
gauntlet so that the 1.6 branch also has to run a full suite of tests,
which caught a number of latent issues. It’s looking pretty solid.

You really meant “favorite bug fix to get into the release”, yeah? :stuck_out_tongue:

Indeed! I can say without hesitation we will NOT accept requests to
introduce bugs into 1.6.6!

And I had such a good one in mind, too…

A method of solution is perfect if we can forsee from the start,
and even prove, that following that method we shall attain our aim.
