What’s the difference between AUTH=PLAIN and AUTH=LOGIN
(besides the fact that LOGIN doesn’t work on my server and PLAIN does)

The difference between AUTH LOGIN and LOGIN PLAIN is that AUTH LOGIN
uses a standard encryption - LOGIN PLAIN does not have any encryption.
