Rails Development and Solid State Drive (SSD)

Hi - I’m wondering if using a SSD-based Mac has noticeable performance
gain in the Rails or any general development.

I’m especially curious to know the speed of testing including autotest
and autospec.

Anybody using 13/15inch MacBook Pro with SSD for the development?

I’ve got a 17in with an ssd (a rebranded samsung 256gb ssd). tests
didn’t really run any faster. A lot of large database queries do run a
lot faster though and there’s a hard to quantify general nippiness
about things in general.

Yes, I am using MacBook Pro with SSD and I brought it from these solid-state hard drives.
