you might want to counter check the content of
http://jruby.org.s3.amazonaws
.com/downloads/1.7.6/jruby-complete-1.7.6.jar
The size was quite surprising (38MB) vs the previous release 1.7.5
(19MB).
I have not checked the other file sizes for installers, etc…
Inside the gem, you’ll discover jruby-core-complete-1.7.6.dev.jar and
jruby-core-complete-1.7.6.jar
are part of the gem (lib sub-directory), and it’s the same with
jruby-stdlib-complete-1.7.6.jar
(dev version also present).
The missing bat files are back now on Windows (jgem and many others not
part of my original email).
In my original email (I did not get any reply), I mentioned about the
“-b”
switch being removed. Is there a way around this?
