Is your system running out of memory?
Look at the output of
$ dmesg
and look at /var/log/messages
$ sudo tail -1000 /var/log/messages | less

If you dont use Peak Hold, does it work?
There was a problem, deep in the bowels of OpenGL related to the Peak
Hold function that seemed to cause this behaviour.
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your response.
I guess my computer has enough memory and the log file is attached in
