Ok. That could be the problem then since I did not compile wxruby.

I’ll check out how to do “compile wxruby against 1.9.0” and see if it
works better.

Should be fairly straightforward on OS X, there’s a wiki page with a
step-by-step.

Any particular reason for using 1.9.0? Whilst it’s good to get some
testing on there, it’s got’s plenty of bugs. If you’re looking to build
real-life apps, I’d stick with 1.8.x
