Hey there,
Has anybody determined yet if it is necessary to build ImageMagick and
its libraries before installing the specific RMagick gem on Media
Temple grid (gs) ??–apart from the dedicated plan. From what I have
gathered from the limited mt documentation and a few stray blogs out
there, its a pain in the ass to build from scratch-- more so without
root access. This is my first deployment from a windows machine and
have to say, the development process was a walk in the park in
contrast to this rollout …Saw this question posed before but with
no definitive answers…thanks for the heads up if anybody should
know!
