Ruby On Rails framework experience
Highly skilled in programming with dynamic languages. Prefer
experience with Ruby and Perl.
Experience writing Javascript. Familiarity with current
Javascript Toolkits (jQuery, EXTJs, OpenLayers, etc.)
Capable of programming in structured programming languages.
Prefer experience with C++ and Java.
User Experience (UX) engineering skills.
Demonstrate understanding of web application programming
protocols, tools and practices.
Good working understanding of Relational Database Management
Systems.
Comfortable operating in UNIX/Linux environments.
Proven ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Experience working with common GIS/Remote Sensing data
formats.
Ideally, working with PostgreSQL/PostGIS and Oracle, common
Open Source GeoSpatial software such as GDAL, and extensive experience
with shell programming.
